He got into the top 12 lovely ballroom. I think he is only doing ballroom now. He will be a hot fav to win the WA Open this year. Who are the teachers in New Zealand? All the New Zealand dancers over here in Australia are very good they must get some good training from a young age. What is a good comp to go to in New Zealand?

The "Flowers Boy" ie: Bryce (remebering there are a few Flowers boys) and his partner Velina Klyots were 13th at NCDC - next into semi. They are also doing latin, but have not competed in it yet- probably in Sydney at Souths. They are very talented in Standard but don't think they will be hot favourite at the WA Open to beat the likes of Craig Denham & Tegan Short, or ever Steven Grinbergs & Rachelle Plaass?

Yes, I agree from when I last saw him. I wouldn't have picked him as winning material. Nice guy though. The top coaches in New Zealand for ballroom are Davidsons, Kingsley Gainsford, Edwin Raieny, Edwards. Latin: Nerida Lister, Sharon Phillips, Colleen Murray, Nadia (russian), Harry Raiend.

What New Zealand couples are coming over for the Megastars and Souths? I know the Russian ballroom couple did very well last year at Souths. Are they coming over? Whos coming?

Is Bryce's partner the sister of Christina who won the Open Junior Latin at the Aussies? I heard that the sister was as good if not better at latin. Also I heard a younger Flowers was dancing with Christina Morrisey - does anybody know when they will be on the floor?

I don't think too many NZ dancers in Australia were wanting to return to NZ for the Championships given the bad way some of them were treated two years ago. One couple was even asked to leave the floor and was treated poorly by the officials. Others were treated badly and in some cases threaten by some of the NZ competitors. Plus one of the NZ top dancers ran off the floor in the Open Latin to fix her wig and the officials held the music until she returned. It was not professionally run at all. Word has gotten around in Australia that that event last year was joke and people think it is a waste of time and money in Australia.

Yeah I heard NZ Nationals was bad last year.......On a separate note: Aparently Kelly Anne has broken up with Brayden - she sure is chewing through the partners and I believe is living up to her reputation. Funny they haven't posted there split on this site YET!

Kelly Ann future is over now for sure! Her rep in Australia is not every good after she broke up with the Flower boy then went on to dance with Brayden who can not even dance! So NZ Nationals is not a good Championship.
Well not a good look for New Zealand!!!
So what NZ couples are dancing Megastars???????????

Why u would say peoples futures r over is totally beyond reality and unfairly offensive, la.dancer, who knows who r the right partners till u try! Agreed that it doesnt help your reputation but neither does comments like yours :( and to say that Brayden cant dance is a joke, i dont know anyone that doesnt like him or his dancing he is an inspiration to us not quite at his level. We were at the NZ championships this year and thought it was one of its best yet, to move forward u have to leave the past in the past ;) not sure what NZ couples r dancin megastars, i know Mat and Sam and Brodie and Leah are going!!!
